TERMS & CONDITIONS

Embodhi's

Below are the important terms and conditions for all our retreats and trainings. Please read them mindfully and get in touch if you have any questions.

SECURING THE PLACE AND DEPOSIT

  • In order to qualify for the Early Bird discount, Embodhi must receive the full payment on the date stated in the retreat or training page. Early Bird payment will not be available after that date and regular amount will be charged.

  • In order to process your application, you must submit a non-refundable 50% deposit (deducted from the total cost). Deposits can be paid via the PayPal service or TransferWise/Bank Transfer. Detailed information with instructions on how to proceed will be sent to you by email. Only when payment is received , we can secure your spot. Note: PayPal will charge a 4% fee, but we are willing cover that for your deposit. If, for any reason, your application is not accepted, your deposit will be refunded. In all other cases, the deposit is non-refundable. The deposit will be deducted from the total tuition of the retreat/training.

  • Full payment is due a minimum of 60 days prior to retreat or training start date and participants agree to pay any outstanding balance no later than this date.

  • In case you apply to the retreat or training less than 59 days prior to the commencement date, specific arrangements will be made with you to have the full fee paid prior to the start of the training.

REFUND POLICY & CANCELLATIONS

  • Embodhi reserves the right to cancel retreat or training if necessary. In the event we are forced to cancel, the participant will be given a full refund.

  • If the balance of the course fee is not received by the notified due date (minimum of 28 days prior to retreat or training start), the participants place may be offered to someone on the waiting list, and the participant will forfeit the deposit paid.

  • If the participant withdraws 30 days or more prior to training commencement, the participant will be eligible to transfer to a future training, or receive a refund of all monies paid, less the non-refundable deposit of 50% of the total amount. (This does not apply for retreats.)

  • Embodhi will NOT refund any other costs including but not limited to costs associated with flights, transfers or transfer flights, or any other costs that may have incurred.

  • Participants need to purchase travel Insurance to cover any situation that may arise, such as illness, change of ticket dates, family emergency, etc

Embodhi refund policy is as follows:

  • Deposit is non-refundable

  • 180 days prior: full refund excluding deposit

  • 90 days prior: half refund excluding deposit

  • Less than 90 days prior: no refund

COMMITMENT FOR TRAININGS ONLY

You agree and commit to the following:

  • 100% class attendance. Arrive on time and ready to go by session start time.

  • If the missed contact hours are due to the event of sickness or other circumstances with Embodhi/Nuno Azevedo and team will work closely with the participant to ensure the participant can attain their certificate.

  • Behave respectfully toward teachers and fellow trainees.

  • Give priority of your energy and time to this intensive experience.

  • Practice self-responsibility - ownership of your emotions, thoughts and actions.

  • Complete all pre/post requisites, and the final written and live demonstration of understanding.

  • Understand that tuition payment alone does not ensure certification. .

HEALTH OR INJURY ISSUES

  • Injury or illness prior to or during the retreat or training, participants retain control and direction over all their physical activities and voluntarily assume full liability and accept the risk of harm, including physical injury and discomfort as a result of their participation in activities during the program.

  • Embodhiaccepts no liability for any injury or illnesses that occur to participants during the retreat or training.

  • The participants must not engage in consumption of alcohol, any other intoxicants, drugs or any kind of illegal activities during the course and abide by the laws of the country where the training is been held.

  • In case of pregnancy, the participant must understand that she participate fully at their own risk and that of their unborn child/children.
