HEALTH
RETREAT
OCTOBER 11 - 18, 2020
" A combination of yoga, health & lifestyle lessons and plenty of fun and self-time ."
HEALTH RETREAT
After a very successful first edition of the Health Retreat, Nisha and Nuno will host another retreat this year in the fantastic valley of Pai for for another chance to make time to develop your yoga practice and work on self-growth, and to deepen your understanding of the mind and body.'
This health conscious retreat is unique in that it gives you two experienced teachers who have been teaching and living all around the world, including here in Thailand, so they can therefore give you that extra one-on-one attention to help you along your own personal path, and also show you around their beautiful home of Pai.
This is your valued time, it’s totally up to you how you wish to spend it. You are free to attend some or all of the classes and activities included on the itinerary. Choose what’s right for you and enjoy your well deserved break.
RETREAT OVERVIEW
This retreat is like no other; Starting each day with a meditation class followed by a morning yoga class where we will engage a more conscious breath to encourage the calming of the mind and to gain an awareness of a mindful practice, whilst building strength and increasing flexibility within the body. These classes will also generate the appropriate and needed energy for the day. Our evening classes will be a little slower and gentler, focusing on holding the postures a little longer as well as doing some restorative yoga. The retreat will incorporate Vinyasa and Hatha yoga styles offering classes for beginners as well as for more seasoned practitioners.
During your stay we will provide mindset & lifestyle workshops and meditation sessions to further progress your self-growth journey. The workshops will include an insight on nutrition covering the basic knowledge for a healthy diet, including how to create a personal dietary structure to fit one’s individual needs. The workshops deal with topics such as how a steady life rhythm influences different hormones and overall health, and how to create particular thought patterns to positively change the quality of one’s life.
During the meditation sessions, you will learn about and focus on the chakras (our internal energy points) to help balance the body, mind and soul connection for overall well-being. When the chakras are blocked, it builds up our internal energy which causes detrimental effects in our health. When the chakras are in balance, the flow of energy moves effortlessly within.
The rest of the day will include time off where you can enjoy the scenery, rest, or take the opportunity to have one-on-one appointments with Nisha and/or Nuno. More information on these extra private sessions can be found below.
